Who we are

A team of software experts that has deep experience of the problems associated with integrating data from multiple sources. The company was therefore set up for one purpose - to create a faster, more rapidly deployed and more nimble approach to solving data integration problems in institutions.

What we do

We have automated the ‘heavy lifting’ of data matching and integration for financial institutions. We work with the entire range of tabular, transactional investment information - trading, counterparty, instrument and positions data. As we re-engineer processes, we can save time and money compared to a traditional data warehouse project. Indeed, with 1View a typical nine-month data integration project can be completed in nine days. We can also provide demonstrable value within one day.

Who we do it for

We work with major investment banks, financial institutions and fund managers that typically run hundreds of applications across dozens of locations, products and functions. We solve complex problems in a complex environment - one where there may be over 100 customer master files. The data quality necessary for efficient operational process and online interrogation services is not available in these firms. Some of these firms have tried and failed to effectively integrate their data in the past. With 1View, our customers have had the confidence to present their integrated, matched data to their clients and thus achieve significant benefits.

Management

Nigel Pickering is Managing Director and has extensive experience in building and running international systems for global organisations. His hands-on experience includes building and delivering application systems for Settlement, Reconciliation, Credit Risk and Reference Data Management. Many of which continue to provide mainstream services within a number of major Global Organisations.

Nigel conceived the 1View product out of a frustration that IT deployment methods were not advancing in-line with IT performance and were increasingly incapable of delivering timely and proactive business solutions. This problem being one of the main root causes of the processing complexity we see today. The journey to today's solution has been supported by a confidence that when an IT application could evolve and deploy faster than business needs the benefit for any global organisation would be materially significant.

With considerable contributions over a number of years from many individuals the 1View software product has been developed into the mature & comprehensive product that it now is.

The most recent implementation of 1View provides a critical regulatory reporting service which involves the daily integration of data from over 100 diverse data sources forming a globally comprehensive online data store. Apart from the significant business benefit of the 'single source', the project was deployed within a matter of weeks, thereby proving the power and efficiency of the solution.
